American Queen

A majestic, engineering marvel to grace the waters of some of America’s great rivers, the American Queen steamboat emerged from the former Delta Queen Steamboat Company. Regarded as one of the largest steamboats, she was built in 1994 by McDermott Shipyard and launched a year later, an endeavor with a price tag of some $60 million. Constructed with 222 staterooms, the 418 feet long and 89 feet 4” high American Queen can accommodate 436 passengers and a crew of 160.
